How we work
We begin with our unique Skills Assessment, designed to ensure your child feels comfortable and supported. We visit your home, allowing your child to relax in a familiar environment while completing engaging worksheets. This also gives them a great introduction to our learning materials. After the assessment, we provide feedback on your child’s strengths and areas for improvement, followed by a personalised learning plan tailored to their needs. Our maths, English, and science learning programmes are meticulously aligned with the National Curriculum, ensuring that your child is building essential skills step-by-step. This structured approach makes First Class Learning effective, helping students grasp concepts they previously found difficult. Each week, we create a clear, easy-to-follow plan for your child’s learning journey. In their weekly session, they’ll go over any corrections or doubts from the previous week and be introduced to new topics in a way that’s easy to understand. With the dedicated support of their tutor, your child will be encouraged to try tasks independently, building confidence and self-reliance. To reinforce their learning, we provide daily bite-sized homework assignments that strengthen the skills they’ve practised at the centre.
