Maths and English Tuition at Chesham
Welcome to Chesham First Class Learning Centre.
We are here to support children in the local community with both maths and English Tuition. Centre Manager, Manali Desai Patel, has been running private sessions for over 10 years. If you are looking for a little bit of extra help for your child/children, private tuition is a great option as it is a more focused approach to their individual needs as opposed to a larger classroom environment.
Students are provided with an individually structured daily plan of around 10-15 minutes per day. 1:1 support is given via our secure video platform whenever needed.
Through our structured programmes, Manali assesses and individualises each child’s learning path, which is targeted to fill any existing gaps or reinforce current learning in line with the National Curriculum. This therefore builds confidence and develops independent learning skills, in and out of the classroom, something that is extremely important. The ‘little and often’ approach, with plenty of repetition and practice, really does make a huge difference.
How we work
Manali (Our First Class Learning Manager) will call you to discuss how we can help your child with maths or English. She will then assist your child to complete an assessment to determine which path is most suitable for them. Once we have established your child's needs, we will put together a bespoke course of action that will support and encourage your child's learning. If you feel happy with our plan and that we are the best option for you and your child, they will then be able to start attending regular classes at the centre or online. In these classes they will complete a short piece of work which will be marked, returned and discussed with the Centre Manager, who will give them a detailed programme of homework to be completed before the next class.
