Emma set up her first First Class Learning Centre in 2011 and has since gone on to open a second within the area. She was looking for an opportunity enabling her to continue her full-time teaching job with more flexibility for her family. Emma explored many options before coming across First Class Learning which was just what she was looking for. Emma chose FCL because it is ‘well structured, offered plentiful support and guidance to get started but at the same time allowed me to run the business my way.’
Along with leaflets and a press release, Emma launched her centre with an open day, with the local Mayor officially opening the centre. This generated a huge amount of interest and Emma signed up 6 students at the open day alone. She now finds the most successful way of bringing in new students is via word of both from her very happy students and parents alike. Emma has 20 5-star reviews on her Facebook page with over 30 recommendations. In the beginning Emma found great success engaging with parents on Social Media.
